* Using an email address in a webpage will almost definitely
cause an increase in spam for the posted email address. When a web crawler searches
the web, most of the time it looks for the "@" symbol and when it finds one
it adds the posted email into a database. This is why you might see emails posted
like "joe771_at_hotmail.com" or "joe771 a t hotmail.com"
on webpages. It is always a good idea to make your email addresses a bit cryptic
when posting them online.
